Overall Satisfaction with Cisco IP Phones

Cisco IP Phone 7800 is extensively used in my organization across India as well as the Denmark office. It solves the problem of telecommunication. Not only does it lets me receive calls, but also lets me do conference and call transfers to colleagues in case of issues I am not the right person to solve. People can make use of IP phones to call the IT support team sitting across the globe at no cost.
  • Call quality.
  • Call conferencing.
  • Call transfer.
  • Music on hold.
  • Can be voice enabled.
  • Can make the hardware light.
  • Connects to Internet and browse.
  • Increased security.
  • Avenues to join meeting even on a phone.
PSTN phones are the usual landline phones and the service is provided by telecom operators which are often quite expensive but limited set of features. hence PSTN phone is no match to IP Phones, one because of security - which is extremely important in today's world and secondly cost of making calls and conferences in way cheaper compared to PSTN phone.
Good support from the Cisco team ensures the service is never disrupted. Even the phone is easy to configure and can be managed by any support companies like TCS, Infy, etc. I would recommend to everyone that this is one of the best solutions that is going to help you to smoothly run your business.

Do you think Cisco IP Phones delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco IP Phones's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco IP Phones live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco IP Phones go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco IP Phones again?

Yes

Best suited for office communication purposes. It's not great a solution if you are moving around the place but then you can always set up a call forward on the phone which can help but then it won't let you help with the caller details. Hence if the call forward feature is linked to the caller ID of the callers, it could be made even more suited to people who keep roaming around on the office premises.

Using Cisco IP Phones

Cisco IP Phone 7800 is very useful, flexible, sturdy, and easy to manage with of host of features like calling, call transfer, hold, conference, call forward. All with amazing features come with the security and support from Cisco. Additionally, the cost-saving realized from the overall implementation is definitely worth investing into buying the product.
