Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX

We have a large (1500+ site) deployment for a client building a meshed SD-WAN deployment + MS switches, Catalyst and MR access points

Pros

  • Easily add sites
  • Global config changes
  • Dashboard visibility is an excellent asset

Cons

  • Better analytics of session counts
  • Built in TRUE ping and tracert to chosen ips
  • Lower cost of ownership
  • Lifecycle of hardware very long
  • Very little rma
  • Easy resilency
We utilize templates, API pushes of changes and global firmware updates. All are excellent.

Better visibility across network
Easy to add new sites
Cisco Meraki MX easier to deploy.
