Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki MX

We use Cisco Meraki MX to replace client sonic walls, juniper, fortigate, and others. We find it suitable in most cases BUT

  • Ease of use
  • Quick setup
  • Auto vpn
  • Dashboard tools easy to use
  • DHCP vlans and up addressing quick and easy

Cons

  • Nat
  • Reverse NAT VÍA IPSEC NON MERAKI TUNNELS
  • Inbound wan forewarn rules multi to multi nat
  • Nat in general is horrible
  • Msp read
  • Easy to use
  • Most engineers can learn it quickly
Quick learning curve
It does scale easily
Fortigate is almost as easy and has all the features of a traditional firewalll and more
