Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We used to use Webex Meetings a lot when we were under another carrier. I found it very user-friendly and everyone used it. It was great for large meetings involving multiple offices while still allowing hands on work.

Pros and Cons

A web meeting where you can virtually meet with someone across the country
It's a secured environment for your web meeting
No roll call, presenter knows who is present without the need for a time consuming role call

If using computer audio it doesn't work as well as if using a headset
Occasional lags

Return on Investment

We used it quite often, sometimes multiple times a day by numerous people

Alternatives Considered

I feel all are equal, Webex is something I used often so it is a software I was familiar with and comfortable using. It is very user-friendly which I like.

GoToMeeting, Zoom, Skype for Business (formerly Lync)

Likelihood to Recommend

I don't feel it is suited for inter office meetings. It is more suited for the multi office or a lot of people from different locations type of meeting. I feel comfortable with the security and the ability to play back when needed. I have also used Skype, Zoom and GoToMeeting and feel all are within the same arena, but our previous carrier used Webex primarily.
