Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings
Used by multiple departments and users in the organization, this is currently the main collaboration platform but will be slowly phased out by Microsoft Teams for small conferences. Since everyone is working from home Webex helps bring us closer together and share ideas and other info, I use the record feature often and like the ability it gives me to download the conferences and review them.
- Recording of meetings.
- Clear voice and excellent dial in options.
- Video is useful.
- Security scanning of attachments by Talos.
- Voice integration with 3rd party phones.
- The chat feature is old flip phone technology, need to update to be like Teams or Messenger in Facebook. The focus is not the meeting in most cases anymore.
- Before covid19 it helped reduce travel expenses.
- Meeting rooms were always full, now after covid meetings are virtual.
There was not a decision. Webex was in use for years and still is but is being phased out for general use meetings by Teams.
