Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have a limited number of seats available for video conferencing at the current moment. We used to use more Webex meeting software licenses before moving over to MS Teams.

Pros and Cons

A lot of customers used the same software, making meetings outside the business easier.
Connection and reliability.

The real reason we have moved away from the software is not based on capability, it is based on the use of other tools in a suite, namely MS Office.

Return on Investment

We were in a bit of a quandary having software spread over multiple vendors, our ROI and leverage made more sense to consolidate across the group and suite our software together from the same vendor.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams and Zoom

We moved away form Webex a while back in favor of the MS 365 suite of software tools, and has increased our capability and capacity during COVID times and in a work from anywhere environment.

Reliability and Availability

I have had no real issues with outages or connections if there is a reliable internet connection available.

Scalability

Scalability of the meeting tool is good and useful. It's easy to manage and install, for all users across the business.

Performance

Fast loading on a fast internet connection. There are really no issues if the connection is reliable.

For a working and business environment, it is much easier to use a full suite of tools from the same vendor that pick a la carte tools that may or may not interact with each other. In our case, we decided as a business to move more to suite-ed software packages
