Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cisco Webex Meetings is currently used as an alternative to Microsoft Teams, when it is either down or doesn't support too much people in the same room. Also it is sometimes used to connect to people from outside the company. Screen sharing or seeing the screen of external invitees are the most important features used among others like video conferencing and audio calls.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Supports many people connected in the same room.
Screen sharing, audio and video calls.
Ability to take control of screens or give control.
Members interactions - raise hand.
Ability to cut off members microphone.

Cons

Though screen sharing is much appreciated it has performance issues, such as some delays when somebody needs to remote control screens.
Microphone sometimes gets loud, and even changing settings, increasing volume, it goes down again by itself.
There are no integrations with other communication platforms like Microsoft Exchange.

Savings, which means we don't need to use traditional and expensive communication means.

Skype for Business (formerly Lync) and Microsoft Teams

Cisco Webex is good only for large audience meetings. However it servers also as a backup for other communication tools in place.

Reliability and Availability

It has always been available. All Cisco products are good in terms of availability, however the only thing is that we can't use it as our main tool, as it looks deprecated and it's used as a spare tool only.

Scalability

Absolutely this product can be easily deployed across multiple departments and sites, however it's not the case since we are using more robust tools implemented across the globe. This is only an alternative that some users will have to make special meetings and as a spare for other technologies currently in place.

Performance

It is good for large audience meetings when compared to other communication tools available in the market and currently in place. However the performance is not good when we have this product serving as a help desk solution to access and control screens remotely. There are delays in the communication when used for this specific purpose, which is really a negative point.

Likelihood to Recommend

Cisco Webex Meetings tool is well suited when you have to make a presentation to a large audience. People can easily join the meeting via a link, install an optional application or even join from the website.
It's less appropriate for small daily meetings and to support users (help desk) because the remote control feature is limited and slower than in other tools.
