Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Cisco Webex Meeting within an acquired company as they had been using it already. Our users are happy and when we next evaluate our online conference/meeting needs and requirements for the whole group, this is again a serious candidate. Works great for larger events and smaller one alike.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Works great for larger online meetings and conferences.
Security is excellent.
Easy to use.

Cons

Even more customisation would be nice, but that is a minor issue.
I've had smaller issues (more feature requests) in the past but as this is a cloud product, most of these were solved/introduced along the way.

Return on Investment

The online conference/meeting industry was mature enough to be a life safer during the pandemic. We had almost no impact on our business because we could meet quickly and with excellent quality connections.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams, GotoMeeting and used in other parts of our group of companies. They are equally instrumental during the pandemic, but Cisco Webex Meetings stands out as a very good enterprise meeting/conference tool especially for larger enterprise requirements during which the audio and videoquality remains of very high standard.

Reliability and Availability

We have not suffered from any lack of unexpected availability. Anytime we had a lower quality meeting the reason was not within Cisco's control but it ended up on our side. The stability of the software is good and has improved over the years. Normal use is very stable. We have had more issues with competitors than with Cisco Webex.

Scalability

This is where Cisco Webex Meetings really shines. It is especially good at large scale online meetings and conferences. The video and audio quality does not suffer during such large sessions. The impact of the agent on a computer is low, it does not take over your computer.

Performance

Likelihood to Recommend

We use it to present larger internal online meetings and conferences. We are an international group of companies so in-person meetings and conferences are not always required or desired. And during the pandemic Cisco Webex Meetings was used more than ever before and to great satisfaction to all organisers and participants.
