Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings
Webex is used across our firm to host and conduct webinars with both internal and external employees. It is used to conduct sessions with large number of participants and generally when it is like a broadcast session. Webex gives good control to the host, allowing them to mute/unmute others at once, release poll questions, share responses with panelist.
- Control to the host for managing the meeting.
- Conducting poll questions.
- Questions to just panelist or entire audience.
- High clarity in terms of both - video and audio.
- User interface to be more friendly and modern.
- When sharing screen, the control buttons is difficult to manage. It hides on top and sometimes is difficult to access or keeps coming in way of showing something on top part of screen.
- Ability to customize the colour of the window. It is very out dated and not modern like new apps like Zoom or Teams.
- Used in firm to conduct virtual trainings and have been easy for both the organizers and participants.
- No prior knowledge needed on how to use, hence easy to adapt.
- No special software installation is needed as can use web version, again making it easy to adapt.
- Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
Webex has better organizing and host options compared to Teams and Skype, for example polling is easier, uploading slides in advance is easier, option oh having anonymous responses.
Zoom is equivalent to Webex and is now becoming more popular due to its better user interface, ability to have breakout rooms, etc.
