Overall Satisfaction with Citrix ShareFile
My entire organization uses ShareFile to distribute files to our clients, vendors and personnel that work remotely. Sometimes we need to move large files through the Internet and ShareFile allows us to do that with several easy options. It also has security options that were needed by our accounting department.
- Many different options on how to share your files.
- It alerts the sender when the files were downloaded by the receiver.
- The Outlook plugin for the PC allows our employees to send files right from their email.
- The Dropbox style functionality requires a password to be generated by the receiver or our client. Unfortunately, it doesn't get used because of it.
- Administration takes a bit to understand.
- It is a cloud based service that costs money but so does an FTP server. The less servers I maintain the less employees I need to run them so it positively impacted our ROI.
