Clarizen was used at my company as a project management tool to help increase the efficient of launching a new product. It allowed us to see any "road bumps" that we would occur through the product development. This was used by marketing, engineering, and upper management. Management used it at a very high level to understand the product development timeline, resources needed, and potential issues that may occur. Marketing and engineering used it to understand who was responsible for which task, the timeline for the task, and the potential delay that may occur if the timeline was not met.
- Very easy to use and understand. No need to lose valuable time training for hours on product use.
- Email reminders ensured all employees understood their tasks and the timeline of their tasks.
- The interface was not always appeasing and easy to navigate.
- Quicker product launch that expected.
- Employees clearly understood role in product launch and necessary time to complete tasks.
- Ease of budgeting
Ease of use was the key reason we selected Clarizen. Employees appreciated the resourcing and budgeting aspect of the program. This allowed it to be easier to manage products, but also pull data for upper management when needed at a moment's notice. Email reminders were appreciated and employees felt that they were not spammed by them.
