Overall Satisfaction with Cloudflare
Cloudflare was used to manage DNS and as a content delivery network for website caching. Used a managed WordPress hosting provider and we needed to ensure media and other static content were delivered with edge nodes for faster delivery.
- Simple, easy-to-use interface
- CDN serves content across edge network
- Repeated cache dumping becomes annoying when working on site CSS.
- CDN delivers website assets faster decreasing load time.
- DNS management is relatively easy.
I jumped right into Cloudflare as I had prior experience. There is a WordPress integration which makes it a little easier to dump some of the caches right from your website vs logging into the Cloudflare back end every time.
