The product is efficient, so much so that we have doubled our workload and kept the same amount of staff.

  • Cloud Based.
  • Daily Logs.
  • Bidding Audit History.
  • Connectors need to be more affordable.
  • Improved workflows.
  • Project visibility.
  • Cost and time savings.
Sage is a thing of the past; CMiC is a much better product for now.

Transitioning accounting software is no minor task and we are happy with the product thus far.

Yes - Sage 300 CRE, it was slow, clunky, and did not offer a cloud offering.

If you are a company thinking about this move, have the right personal in that room to learn.

Yes - Research and information gathering, setup, test, and go live.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - Take your time when making changes in setup to really understand the outcome of those changes.
  • Our first trainer was not well versed enough.
  • We had to setup twice as we started in R12 then had to revert to R10.

Yes, in the hopes that it would give us the ability to get help when we needed it.
Yes - It was resolved; however, like with most bugs we report, the answer is always that will be in the next patch.
When we cannot get the helpdesk to get back to us quickly, we often reach out to other contacts, and they are quick to help.
The tech's ability to understand via screenshots and text seems to always have a disconnect; it would be a lot easier to have a live phone conversation and screen share.
