Overall Satisfaction with Conceptboard
We typically use Conceptboard as an alternative to Miro for whiteboarding, brainstorming, and outlining concepts / strategy in virtual settings. The problems we address are coordinating in virtual settings, quickly documenting ideas, presenting more developed concepts to large groups, and collaborating in breakout rooms. We typically use Conceptboard in groups of 5 - 25.
- Templating
- Whiteboarding
- Multiple Users
- Integrations
- Importing / Exporting to other applications
- Data Visualization
- Positive: Quickly brainstorming ideas outside of powerpoint and allowing multiple users to collaborate
- Positive: quickly building on ideas from a previous meeting
- Negative: getting utilized as a long-term tool for a long project that didn't have the capabilities needed
Miro is a superior product with more capabilities and better suited for advanced users. We selected Conceptboard as a short-term solution that was low-cost compared to Miro but allowed users to create boards. Once users are versed in Conceptboard, they are better off using Miro which has more integration, better capabilities, and is overall a more complete product.
