Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense
We use it company-wide and it completely consolidates the arrangement process for making travel plans - from booking flights and rental cars to hotels, and figuring out how to pay for those expenses. It's sooo much better than having to call a company's travel agency or anything. You're in control of everything and the interface is literally so simple to use. I'm so happy we use this at my company. It makes preparing to travel for work so much less stressful.
Pros
- Super easy to use, IF you're anticipating traveling, you can easily go into it and quickly make your arrangements.
- Clearly shows which flights your company supports so you can easily make flight arrangements.
- Can easily create a "budget" of sorts for your travel that can quickly be approved by your company.
Cons
- Honestly no complaints! I don't think there is anything I'd really change.
- Definitely saves time as you can do everything at your pace rather than having to wait for a travel representative to get back to you on things.
- Simplifies the financial approval process for sure as a company member can easily go in and approve things.
I've heard decent things about ExpenseWire but I just can't imagine something being easier than Concur Travel and Expense. My company doesn't use ExpenseWire but I think Concur is definitely a great alternative regardless and, you won't be upset using Concur - that's for sure.
Concur is the only software we have integrated.
Concur has completely changed the way we organize travel arrangements. It used to be dreadful having to talk with a travel representative. But now I really honestly don't mind when travel has to come up. Making arrangements is much easier, since I can do everything within a few minutes from my own computer and know exactly all the details easily.
Concur Travel and Expense allows you to really easily set up your travel budgets and have them quickly get approved by personnel if needed. For me it has never slowed down my travel plans and has only had me make minor adjustments to any arrangements. Tracking reimbursements and expenses though has become significantly easier than having to worry about manually saving a lot of billing.
