We use Conductor to track priority keywords and to help inform future content opportunities based on search volume.
- I love the completeness with which you can track a term... by location, by browser, by type, by search engine.
- The preferred URL is an excellent feature to compare what is ranking versus what you want to have rank.
- We're just starting to integrate outside data, but combining analytics with keyword ranking is vital to demonstrate success.
- The tool can often be very slow to load, and makes bulk management difficult.
- Keyword categories are more like tags, not filters. So you can't create subcategories. These tags also export into one data field in random order, making organization difficult.
- Competitor tools update data daily out of the box, Conductor charges more for daily vs weekly data updates.
- Customized reports within "workspaces" are nice to allow for individual automated reports.
- Helped monitor the impact of site migrations by helping to ensure no loss in keyword authority.
Google Search Console and Adobe Analytics. These have both been completed relatively recently, so thus far we have not utilized the functionality to its fullest.
Conductors related searches function helps you think outside of your own box of terminology and ideas. It's able to seemingly make intelligent correlations to surface usable insights.
