Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

Our company primarily provides RMM (Remote Maintenance and Monitoring) services to companies in a broad range of industries. We started out using Screenconnect a couple years ago, and have continued when they merged into ConnectWise. Our whole company uses the software to provide support to customers, take part in webinar meetings, and remotely maintenance systems.
  • ConnectWise has powerful commandline access, allowing quick direct access to the controls of connected computer.
  • Encrypted storage of user login credentials, makes accessing client computers easy and secure.
  • Easy to use on-line interface makes managing and accessing client systems fast and simple.
  • ConnectWise needs a function for clients to control access. Allowing customers the option to disable access to their computer temporarily without having to re-install the client software.
  • ConnectWise Connect has increased the ticket close rate for our technicians by facilitating easy, quick access to multiple systems simultaneously.
  • The remote unattended access features of ConnectWise Control has allowed our company to expand our RMM services and support a larger volume of customers; increasing revenue in that department.
ConnectWise Control is well suited for grouping and organizing access to multiple devices for providing continued maintenance and support to small-large organizations.

ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect) Support

The new support site for ConnectWise Control is mostly adequate. But there was some in-depth information that I feel was present in the old (ScreenConnect) support portal, but is missing/hard-to-find in the new support portal. Hopefully as time passes, more information will be added and the layout will be improved.
