Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
We are technology consultants that support numerous SMB clients remotely. We use ScreenConnect constantly to view our clients' computers for installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. It is an invaluable tool, particularly for users in a remote site and home office situations.
- Smooth reboots and reconnects. Almost never lose connection after reboot. Plus, the ability to reboot into Safe Mode is a great feature. Not something we could ever do through RDP, even with VPN tunnels to our clients.
- Access the command line of the remote computer. Allows us to easily view IP information and run commands if necessary.
- Serial numbers/service tags are easily accessible. This allows us to track down computers in the case of conflicting documentation.
- Provide private IP addresses automatically. That would eliminate the need to invoke the Command Prompt.
- Display current users' Computer Names when "waiting for a license" prompt is displayed.
- The cost of the software has allowed us to purchase more licenses than we had with a previous product. This eliminates technicians waiting or fighting to get a session. This allows us to better help our clients. The increased client satisfaction usually leads to more revenue through referrals and recurring business.
- The high availability and multiple licenses eliminates wasted time for our techs, which directly impacts the bottom line.

ScreenConnect offers so many more features than GoToAssist. It is also priced more reasonably, which has allowed us to purchase multiple licenses and eliminate wait times.
