Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilize Cornerstone OnDemand as our in-house Learning Management System. We have it as a "University" of sorts that houses the training for our employees. During Covid, our company expanded dramatically. We went from approximately 30 employees to 130 in the span of a year to a year and a half through acquisition and partnerships with other similar companies. This has created a mix of cultures within the company and different ways to achieve the objectives from each of our locations. The creation of our "University" allows us to train both current and new employees in exactly how we want things done, how we want to treat our customers, and how we want to be perceived by our customer base. Using Cornerstone OnDemand allows us to standardize that training from top to bottom and establish the "JMA Way" for our team members.

Sometimes finding the right answer to your support question can be a bit more difficult than it should be.
I would like to see more OSHA related courses.
At times, the administrative interface seems to need to be updated, but the tradeoff honestly might be the absolute rock-solid stability of the platform.

Return on Investment

Our goal is to standardize training across our company and its 5 permanent locations allowing us to build a common culture across the company.
Our goal is to be able to push out specific training to our teams which are spread across an enormous geographical area of the United States.
We are currently meeting our objectives - in less than three months' time our team members have completed more than 1500 individual courses through Cornerstone OnDemand.

Product Configurability

Before choosing Cornerstone OnDemand I researched more than twenty other Learning Management Systems and found that Cornerstone OnDemand was the perfect solution for us at this time. The courses offered are plentiful and the configurability was fantastic; exactly what we needed. We also have the flexibility to create and import any courses we like to include videos, scorm files, and more.

My background is that I have been a teacher for more than thirty years. I have worked with a few different Learning Management Systems and when it came time for my company to implement its own LMS I evaluated more than twenty other Learning Management Systems. I went through many different options and ultimately found that Cornerstone OnDemand offered the absolute best value for the money.

Likelihood to Recommend

Cornerstone OnDemand is fantastic if you want or need to push out standardized training to your company, team, or other specific groups. Cornerstone OnDemand would be suitable for almost any size organization. Cornerstone OnDemand might be a little cost prohibitive for very small organizations. I tend to balance cost vs benefit per individual and for smaller groups, it might not be as cost-efficient.
