Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

We use Cvent Event Management for sourcing and complete event management. We use the platform for attendee registration and management.

Pros

  • Allows our team to create templates to be used repeatedly, making registration website creation much easier.
  • Existing report templates and the ability to create or modify reports to pull the information that we need for specific reasons.
  • The ability to revise the website for specific meetings is awesome. I love that we can add additional questions for attendees to answer during registration -- saving us the time of having to follow up with each one individually afterward.

Cvent Event Management is a much more complex platform that allows you to do much more. The budgeting feature on Starcite was a bit more simplified, which can be good and bad. Cvent Event Management is the standard for event management, and the support is amazing. They are so helpful and able to assist with any mistakes I make or make the changes I need.

I had a recent event where attendees for a focus group needed to pre-order their meals. I was able to work with the amazing Cvent help desk, and we set up a scenario where attendees would select to attend, and then the appropriate menu would pop up for them to choose their entree. It probably seems simple, but it saved me so much time.
