Overall Satisfaction with CylancePROTECT

Is being used across our entire organization in place of traditional AV solutions. Powered by an internal AI, no cloud connection is required for it to defeat known and even unknown variants of bugs, viruses, and malware running in the wild today.
  • Easily managed from the cloud portal.
  • Doesn't require a connection to the cloud to be totally effective against threats.
  • Very easy to deploy in a domain environment.
  • Very easy to administer.
  • Notification when or if a threat is detected.
  • The client itself is protected from being stopped at the local PC level, a common thing that most threats do is stop the AV service from running.
  • Very easy to track what your top threats have been and mitigate them.
  • The dashboard is very clean, almost too clean. Could use some additional information made available.
  • Client over the past few years is getting fat.
  • Better logging and explanation of threats is needed.
  • Nothing negative, cost point vs what the solution has protected us against is priceless.
  • If a threat has been quarantined there's no need to wake up and have to deal with a threat at that moment in time. It's safely stored away with no permissions and can be deleted via the console.
  • Weekday support has always been great with them.
  • Weekend support has been iffy but once able to get someone any issue was resolved quickly.
Once you see a road show with Cylance and watch how Cylance is able to block ten out of ten or nine out of ten threats live vs SEP which stops six or seven out of ten, you're sold. Cylance has crushed all the competition in these events. Disconnect the competition from any cloud and make it a true client vs client, and Cylance will win in every scenario.
We're using it in an almost exclusively Windows environment and it's been flawless. Haven't deployed or spent much time on it within the Linux side. Have been waiting for a mobile client version of this for years. I hope with Blackberry acquiring them this will become a reality.

Using CylancePROTECT

700 - Across the board from Customer Service to Information Technology.
5 - Any IT Professional can administer and support this product.
  • End Point protection
  • Ease of use
  • Ease of administration
  • Zero impact to end users PC
  • It's an endpoint protection product, not sure this really applies. You deploy it and allow it to protect your endpoints nothing unexpected or innovative there.
  • Additional products like Optics and such can be added using the same client.
  • Added features allow for further endpoint controls like removal from the network should a threat be detected.
It's simply been the best product I've used and tested within the past four years.
