D&B Hoovers is utilized by our Commercial Relationship Mangement team throughout the bank within the State of Michigan where we have a commercial banking presence.
Pros
- Identifies primary site contacts and their respective title
- Identifies whether or not the business is locally owned or part of a national organization.
- Estimates annual sales volumes.
Cons
- Periodically I find site contacts that are either deceased or no longer with the company for a long period of time.
- Site contacts are not always available, particularly for smaller organizations.
- Primary location or "HQ" not easily identifiable.
- Speeds up prospecting efforts when new prospect is identified.
- Confirms whether the existing detail I have gathered for the prospect is accurate.
- Provides additional site contacts and location information that can be very valuable during my discovery process.
Have not used other systems like D&B Hoovers in a very long time. Not broke so not going to fix it! It has all of the tools that I am looking for.
