Overall Satisfaction with D&B Hoovers

We use D&B Hoovers for researching on companies that either want to start a new relationship with us, or check for updates on existing companies.

We also use the system to validate details of group companies, financials, locations and other information to evaluate the relationship.

Our ops and compliance teams use the system.

Pros

  • Provides updated information to the company formation information.
  • Provides financial information for businesses.
  • Company and its group information

Cons

  • Provide more information on detailed ownership
  • Provide details on partnership companies and ownership
  • It is a good source of information to identify our clients, pipeline or existing. Line of business, static information, company NACIS etc.
Though the system provides a lot of information, we would love to see the information on detailed ownership structure for all companies including Partnership firms such as equity funds.
It does provide the required information for the company.

The D&B Hoovers provides a lot of details on the static information, however, we would like to see more detailed information on ownership structure. A single system that helps pull up a detailed in-depth information on businesses such as, formation documents, registration certificates, ownership, director information. etc.
