Overall Satisfaction with DameWare Remote Support
DameWare Remote Support is used by the IT staff in support of our end users. It has greatly reduced the hassles of using VNC software by centralizing it into one easy to use package.
- Ease in pushing the client software to the workstation requiring assistance.
- The ability to add a friendly name to each of the computers in the support list.
- The chat feature is great. It allows us to chat with users that do not have a telephone nearby while providing them with the needed support.
- The authentication type does not always want to stay set. It would be great to set a default and have it stay set.
- Would like to see the integration with the Solarwinds line of products, including the Atlas software.
- Would like to see complete integration with Active Directory.
- Our customers appreciate the speed in which we are able to connect to their systems and resolve their issues.
- Our on-call staff are able to connect to workstations or servers as if they are on property.
- Through the speed of connectivity and the rock-solid connectivity the technicians' efficiency has greatly improved.

DameWare is leaps and bounds more robust in the support aspects of any of the similar products that we reviewed. I am sure that we will be finding new tricks and features for years to come. It is a great product with more than adequate features for a company of our size or larger.
