Overall Satisfaction with DameWare Remote Support
DameWare Remote Support is being used by our small IT department for troubleshooting across the division. We are able to do things remotely with our computers which allows us to save valuable time and money by not driving all over the division for simple troubleshooting. We compared this to several other products and this one gave us the most bang for the buck.
- Remote support for troubleshooting desktop issues.
- Active directory sync.
- Mobile app is a great tool.
- We thought the installation and setup was a little cumbersome but worth it in the end.
- We would love to see more analysis features.
- Faster response times
- Less traveling between sites for technicians which increases their capacity
We selected Dameware based off of recommendations from other school districts; a recommendation from an employee who used it at another company, and after considering other options such as TeamViewer. For the cost, we thought it offered us the most bang for our buck as it included the Active Directory stuff which we are going to [use] along with great Remote Desktop support.
