Can't live without it.
Overall Satisfaction with Dashlane Password Manager
We mainly use Dashlane because it keeps our passwords safe and secure. Honestly, trying to memorize all those different passwords is just impossible. With Dashlane, I can store everything in one place and know that it’s protected. Another thing I appreciate is the ability to share passwords with my team when needed. There are times when we need to grant access to specific accounts, and Dashlane makes it easy to do so without compromising security.
Pros
- Keeps accounts/passwords safe.
- Makes logging into any service across devices a breeze.
- Enables password sharing with team members (or friends and family).
- Allows for secure notes that can contain sensitive data.
Cons
- Sometimes it doesn't work well on mobile. You have to open Dashlane, copy the password, and then paste it manually.
- Saves time and money by avoiding memorizing and searching passwords all over the place to log in to your accounts.
- Saves money with reduced risks in case of leaked passwords, and they monitor blacklists in case any of your passwords land there.
- Saves time when creating new users and makes it ultra secure by generating passwords for you.
Yes - We were testing 1Password.
This was about 3 or 4 years ago, so I can't recall the exact details, but I remember that using 1Password was clunky and iffy. Sometimes it would work great, other times not so much. Password sharing and managing your team wasn't as simple. Dashlane seems to be built for businesses from the ground up, whereas other competitors seem to have been designed for B2C but have evolved into B2B.
