Overall Satisfaction with Dialpad Talk

Dialpad is our companies main switchboard. We have employees living and working in different states and time zones. The ability to seamlessly direct and redirect calls and messages to employees regardless of their location is invaluable. With each employee having what is basically their own phone line, they can set their own hours, and forward and initiate calls from their cell phones, via the app. The messaging and voicemail works wonderfully. Email alerts of missed calls and voicemail, means that you never really miss a call. The voice recognition for transcripts is very accurate, and fast. We are sent notice of available transcripts moments after calls end. The user interface is clean and intuitive. There are many settings and controls, allowing management to assign appropriate levels of access based on employee roles.

Dialpad is much more robust for outside communication, with many more features. We use Slack for inhouse development meetings and daily workgroup chat. Slack will crash or freeze at times, a problem we've never had with Dialpad. The Dialpad interface is more user friendly and professional looking. As we are a software company, when we hold online training, if the meeting software is not up to par, customers wonder about the quality of our software. We need a reliable professional interface that does not require participants from outside to create an account or download software.

We have held meetings where each person was working in a different state and timezone, one person was driving, and one home, and we were all able to interact well and share information, via screen share, and then followed up with a transcript to serve as meeting minutes. Participants were even able to chat between themselves during the call. This meant no one had to miss the meeting and all relevant input was available.
