Overall Satisfaction with DigitalPersona

DigitalPersona has been used for many years by many users across the Government of Alberta to align fingerprint authentication with government identities as well as a convenience for application authentication. The new versions of the product are expanding to other methods of authentication that are being explored by the organization such as Bluetooth proximity authentication for devices such as tablets that do not have fingerprint reader hardware.

  • Biometric authentication has been limited in the past but there is an increased demand for the expanded features and convenience.

DigitalPersona is best suited for people who have to authenticate to many applications often on some form of physical hardware. It is also well suited for places where passwords are required to be complex, long and changed often. It is not suited for VDI environments or places where specific types of multi-factor authentication are used.
