Overall Satisfaction with Diligent Boards

I am one of the administrators on Diligent Boards. I create the 'books' and upload all Board/Committee papers and inform all Board/Committee members/representatives when the papers are ready to view. I deal with all User queries relating to Diligent Boards and keep all Users informed of any changes/new features etc.
  • Easy to create a new 'book' or copy from an existing book
  • Easy to upload papers including replacing/deleting
  • Very good to be able to restrict access on certain papers within book
  • Extremely beneficial for Users to access their account via the Web
  • Some new features require the Customer Success Manager/Diligent Team to activate them first, which can be time consuming and can result in delays in having these, especially when the features were outlined in a webinar a few months prior. For example, the self-service function.
  • It would be good to have access to our contract within our account so I can keep track of the amount of contracted Users and whether we have exceeded our limit
  • Having the Web version available for all Users
  • Being able to replace and move items within the book
  • Users being able to download/print papers/books with ease using the Web version
  • Being able to add new Users and remove them as a self-service function
  • Being able to restrict access to papers for certain Users within a book
  • Having Diligent Boards has been a huge asset in Board paper distribution, especially when papers are added and/or substituted last minute.
  • Being able to distribute Board papers to all members/Users whilst in lockdown, when this was the only way Board members/Users would be able to view their papers. This changed the way Board members used Diligent as there was no option to have distributed hard copies!
We have an extremely good working relationship with our Customer Success Manager, Jatin Patel, who has been with us from the start of us using Diligent Boards. Jatin is very knowledgeable and reliable. He has always helped us with any issues we have had and resolves them quickly.
We are happy with the strict security measures Diligent Boards has in place, which I relay to our Users so they are aware of any changes to be made.

I find that Diligent Boards is extremely user-friendly and the functions are advanced and appropriate in our circumstances. Being able to restrict access to certain members of papers within a book is very beneficial. I also think having the Web version is an asset as I know from our Users that this is advantageous, especially when their device is updated and they have forgotten their password to be able to download the app.
