Overall Satisfaction with Diligent Boards

We use Diligent Boards to communicate board materials, communications and questionnaires with our board of directors. It works well with board materials. This our first time with questionnaires. Hoping the directors will like it.
  • Makes organizing easier
  • Helps keep documents confidential without bunches of email
  • The prefill manager works particularly well in the questionnaire section
  • Formatting in the questionnaire needs improvement. I end up with different fonts and sizes for some reason. Wish there was a way to universally change the font. It's tedious going into each question individually.
  • Sub questions and making questions contingent is a bit clunky. Could use some improvement
  • Confidentiality between the company and the board of directors
  • The new DocuSign feature is a super nice addition.
  • The multiple uses it has.
  • Less man hours needed to put together board materials and distributing them
  • Much better security. You don't have copies of things floating around
I was a first time user when I started and was able to learn the process very quickly through the webinars and the online support documents. It was a very good experience. I felt like an expert very quickly.
I do believe it is very secure and confidential. The fact that everything is in one place where everyone who needs to see it can is very important. It's easy to secure the data from some in the group and not others which can really come in handy. We don't have to worry about data getting into the wrong hans.

The questionnaires are particularly good at simple questions. When there are multiple parts, it is a bit clunky. It could be improved. In order to put in some questions I had to divide the question into 2 or 3 where on a paper copy it was 1 compound question.
