Overall Satisfaction with Diligent Boards
Used as a portal for PLC directors for board and committee papers for 6 years.
Pros
- Formerly was great support service but complete decline in recent years.
Cons
- doesn't manage large file sizes well - very slow and clunky to use.
- Sometimes the portal just doesn't work for no reason, and the support team is never able to resolve the issue.
- Very expensive especially given very poor service level.
- Diligent changed contact details without informing clients (team crystal to team sapphire).
- Diligent hasn't made any material improvements or enhancements to the board portal in years, indicating no investment in the product.
- Diligent should allow presenters partial access to their sections of the pack.
- Security
- Ease of use - quick to upload and preview papers.
- Nothing - Diligent has restricted the company secretariat team's ability to complete their duties, causing significant delays and frustration in our meeting process.
None - effective security is a minimum requirement for this product and not something that we should feel has been an extra benefit.
We have reviewed all credible products in the market as we prepare to exit our diligent relationship. Although some products were stronger than others, I would have chosen any one of them over Diligent. They are all lower cost and better.
