Score 9 out of 10
Overall Satisfaction with Domo
It is being used across the whole company. It is being used to help improve processes in every department and to have more insights into information that we haven't had before. This is being used in sales, marketing, support, etc. It is helping to understand the state of renewals and help to manage leads.
- Automates dataflows
- Allows for security on the row level
- The data visualization aspect if working in analytics
- Datasets alerts
- R and Python integrations
Easy to learn how to use and maneuver around inside of Domo and it does have some very useful features. Along with an easy to learn platform, it has a great community that has asked and answered almost every question that you can think of to help when you get stuck.
This feature allows for dashboards to be created and set up in a way that whoever is accessing the dashboard will only see data that is useful to them. This helps users to be able to quickly access information that is pertinent to their individual role or their team and saves time for them on having to set specific filters every time they access Domo.
Yes it helps to be able to collect data from multiple different sources and combine it in one centralized location. My role focuses more on the combining of datasets and on the visualization then it does on setting up data imports, however it has been beneficial in allowing for a centralized location of data that can has permissions in place to not allow sensitive information to be viewed by anyone.
Domo is well suited to automate data pulls and data flow runs to get real-time data. It needs improvement on the alerting side. Dataset alerts is a step in the right direction, however it has some flaws and issue working when rows are updates. If the alert system can be improved it will help to inform the right people immediately whenever an action needs to take place.
