We use DraftSight for preparing 2D CAD drawings for our customers that are provided by our vendors.
- be able to open any version of AutoCAD release
- simplicity of the icons

We do not have an internal IT support.
- PDF converted to DWG format but have broken features that we use DraftSight to fix.
- Easy to manipulate DWGS that were provided in DWG format.
- our use of draftsight is limited to making simple 2D dwgs
