Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox

We use Dropbox for some document control and retention between facilities. Our primary facilites are in North America and Italy so utilizing Dropbox for record sharing helps bridge the gap between any language barriers as well as time differences

Pros

  • Organization of documents and files
  • synchronization between accounts
  • ease of use

Cons

  • Dropbox works very well overall for what it does, perhaps some synchronization between various platforms could be useful. Ie. ways to automatically sync documents from email to Dropbox as they are shared via email etc
  • Dropbox has provided us the ability to store and share analytical quality assurance documents for thousands of items within our business

Sharing a large volume of documentation is great with Dropbox, working in a quality assurance role, there are many many documents and files that need retention and easy accessibility. Dropbox does this well
