Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
To prepare content for publication in a quarterly magazine, we use Dropbox to share files between the editor and graphic/web designer. We also use Dropbox to prepare items for posting on our social media platforms. it's easy to see which files have been accessed and/or are scheduled for publication by looking at the time stamp and by renaming the file with a notation as to whether it's been scheduled or published.
Pros
- Create a cataloguing site
- Share files between individuals
- create folders for separating files by topics
Cons
- It would be great if I could tag some files as favorites so I can go right to them
- I'd love to have a shared space that offers live access between/among designated individuals
- Using the file sharing feature has doubled the timeliness of our publication.
- Cataloguing and archiving our content provides us with a record of 10 years of prior work.
