Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business
We use it company-wide to allow people working remotely to share files. We had a server previously that needed a password and connections to get into while working outside of the office, however it became cumbersome to work with. Dropbox Business was purchased and took away the need to sign into the server.
- Easy uploads and downloads
- Easy signing in
- Copies the format of a typical file storage
- Sometimes it appears my computer bogs down trying to sync all of the files
- Long folder or file names aren't known at the time, until you go in later and are unable to open the file
- Removed the need to have a company server to log in to while working remotely
- Great mobile app on the iPhone, allows for quick access to view without needing a computer
- Allows all team members to collaborate in real time
We had tried Google Drive in a limited fashion before purchasing Dropbox Business. There was no comparison between the two products. Dropbox is much more powerful and useful than Google Drive was. Might just be Google Drive is more driven towards personal use than business use. We have not thought of switching products, as it handles everything we need perfectly.
