Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox Business

It is used between our creative and account departments. This is our hub of creative content where we store all our PSDs (raw or working files) but also the final files that we share with clients. We are able to either download the raw asset or share a Dropbox link with our clients.
  • Sharing content
  • Uploading and downloading content
  • Organizing multiple files in different folders
  • Workable files (unlike Google Drive)
  • User-friendly appearance
  • Security
  • Cannot edit a Powerpoint or Word document within Dropbox
  • Hard to navigate
  • Easy sharing with others
For the most part, Dropbox does load quickly and there haven't been many problems with it freezing or crashing from downloading a large file or document. I just think that the most beneficial addition to the Dropbox application would be editable documents where you do not have to keep resaving over versions.
I think that the user experience for Dropbox is quite simple, however, for beginners, it can be a little confusing at first. I think that the search function can appear in a bigger section of the page. I think that the fonts are a bit dated and the icons can be a bit bigger.
I do think that Dropbox is an appropriate platform for storing large creative files that may be PSDs or other Adobe files. However, it is unfortunate that you can not edit documents (like excel or word documents) through this platform. It would facilitate a lot of product management, especially when there are multiple edits to a creative file.
