Overall Satisfaction with Druva Data Resiliency Cloud

Our main use for Druva Data Resiliency Cloud is to backup our file servers. There is a constant need to have a reliable backup solution to keep files safe. We know at the end of the day whether a user deletes a file or if there is a malware attack our data is safe. Backup and restore processes are both easy.

Pros

  • File backup setup is easy and straightforward.
  • File restoration is point and click without added steps.
  • Access to data is a few clicks away.
  • Restoration is very quick.

Cons

  • Like most interfaces there is some time needed to get used to where things are.
  • File restoration options are given but it's good to have more detailed options as to what the process is.
  • Productivity is raised by not making users recreate the wheel when a file backup is available.
  • If a ransomware situation occurs there is no need to worry when backups are available.
At the end of the day users want to have their data. If they delete something or get hit with malware they don't want excuses they just want the data back. IT can be unforgiving when it comes to some things but having a reliable backup solution is imperative. The ease of setting up what you want backed up if fairly easy and being able to restore is just as simple.

Any backup/restoration scenario has been a rather pleasant experience for our group. File backups are pretty much set and forget and they run as long as there is a proper connection. File restoration is very easy just a matter of finding the date you want to restore from. Having multiple backup dates available is also nice to see what was sitting out there at different times.
