Overall Satisfaction with Dynamic Yield
Currently we are using Dynamic Yield to make changes to recommendation logics with little to no involvement from our internal development team. It also allows me to test these logics against each other immediately which in turn makes optimizations a lot faster and allows me to do them at scale. It is currently being used by our merchandising team for this but there are other teams in the process of getting trained (such as marketing and purchasing) who will use various tools Dynamic Yield provides.
- Little to no internal development resources required post initial integration.
- Do not need to know how to write code - great for merchandisers!
- The user flows can be a little difficult to follow at first.
- Naming conventions are key if you plan to use this tool at scale.
- We are looking to grow return customers and increase AOV - it is too early to tell if these objectives have been met as we have only recently launched, but from what we have seen the results look promising and we have only touched the surface on the tools' capabilities and configuration.
We have looked at a lot. All are very specialized in a particular marketing or merchandising element but none seem to be as robust and cover a multitude of use cases as Dynamic Yield does.
