Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace
Dynatrace is being used across multiple areas as part of an enterprise monitoring platform. It is being used to provide insights into application performance and end user experience. Dynatrace is being used to support monitoring on legacy, PaaS and cloud applications covering multiple technology stacks. It provides insights into applications and allows for service mapping and technology integrations.
Pros
- Ease of Deployment
- Real User Experience
Cons
- User Access Management
- API data extraction
- Mean time to restore
- Identifying problems earlier
Dynatrace is easier to roll out at scale, has significantly less configuration requirements and can detect more technologies out of the box with minimal implementation requirements. Implementing RUM is significantly easier in Dynatrace with auto injection to most technology. Implementing on older & complex technology stacks is a breeze with Dynatrace due to its auto detection capabilities. APIs are not as easy to use in Dynatrace as they are in New Relic.
