Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

Currently, Dynatrace is being used by multiple lines of business to provide telemetry, monitoring, and alerting for internal applications.
  • Ability to gather telemetry for a multitude of technologies
  • Smartly organizing data in its user interface
  • Not all AppMon functionality has been ported over to new product, causing confusion
  • API is still feature incomplete
  • Reduction in mean time to repair
  • Visiblity where there wasn't for telemetry
Dynatrace provided better technology support and AI operations than AppDynamics.
We have three guardians who support us very well, but we are forced to funnel all support for our firm through them. Outside of the guardians, we are looking for advanced enterprise level expertise, which is inconsistent from the normal support channels.

Dynatrace is well suited for applications with appropriate volume and continuous services. Not suited for batch-style operations and other complex, disjointed scenarios.
