Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

Proactive monitoring for business transaction that able to monitor upstream and downstream business transactions that impacting customer transactions
Consolidate noisy alerts and able to determine the actual root cause and impact.
Easy to navigate dashboard that provide pure paths and service flow modelling of the entire business transactions and engage the right support group to manage the incident mgmt promptly.

  • Require Technical Skills and Understanding of the Application Services Flow
  • Developer requires to incorporate the monitoring in place for before Operation able to understand the error been trigger.
  • Improve deployment time and incident when moving new features or capabilities
  • Quick Root Cause Analysis and provide all the require information to troubleshoot and provide resolutions

Best :- for those have complicated Business Service Model that transverse to multiple services with High Customer transaction that difficult and time consuming to find.

Least :- Infrastructure monitoring as there are many better availability tools in the market that can do similar or better

Using Dynatrace

200 - Operations - Manage Day to Day Application Operations to monitor any issues before customer complaint.

Delivery - Ensure any new code deployment to production has the less impact and roll back immediately during Testing / Production on the code that causes these issues

Manage Services - as part of the L1 and L2 support troubleshooting to assist the operations team
2 - Require understanding the current issues and gaps and how to place Dynatrace into monitoring them more effectively and customize or any other addon that require to have a full observability view.
  • Understanding of the service impact before customer complaint and resolved it quickly
