Overall Satisfaction with Evernote
I personally use Evernote to organize my workload, sync meeting notes across my devices, and save important emails or pertinent information I find online.
- Syncs across devices effortlessly.
- Works well as an external brain; it lets you store everything you couldn't imagine remembering (thousands of emails, contacts, addresses, meeting notes, articles, etc) and putting it not just in the palm of your hand but in ONE application, to be searched whenever you need it.
- Allows you to organize notes multiple ways, through stacks/notebooks, and via tagging them by topic.
- Functionality is getting a bit clunky, it might be a bit hypocritical to praise how it can be a catch-all external brain and then complain about how its unwieldy sometimes but if you're a fan of extreme minimalism and bare bones note saving you might be better off with something else.
- It can turn into a shoebox stuffed with anything and everything if you don't organize it yourself
- The mobile application can be glitchy sometimes when taking snapshots or if you have a single note open on multiple devices at the same time.
- Better organization in completing tasks
- Increased efficiency
