Overall Satisfaction with Evernote

I used Evernote to make notes. That's important. I almost use it everyday. It's used by the department. Some colleagues use it. Even when I went to WWDC this year, I found most programmers use Evernote to take notes.

The business problems it addresses are 1. It makes it easy to take notes on different platforms, including iPad and iPhone. 2. It is easy to search the data, even on PDF.
  • Easy to take notes on iPad.
  • It is able to save Audios.
  • Nice to organize attached files.
  • I use Evernote mostly for my individual notes. I don't think Evernote is very good for note sharing. It's so difficult to share the note in Evernote. For those who don't use Evernote, it is not easy for them to read and edit the note.
  • Increased my efficiency. I can track my notes from two years ago. That's awesome.
  • hackpad
I used to use Hackpad to take notes. After I found that Evernote was better on an iPad, I started to use Evernote. That's important.
I already have many notes on Evernote. I don't want to migrate the data to another platform. I hope Evernote will be better in the future.
It is well suited for WWDC, or any conferences (It looks really cool on the iPad). It is less appropriate to use as a web platform. (I don't like UI Design in the web.)
I think the key question in the selection process is "How easy is it to take notes"? Different platforms have different elements. iPads and others tablets are totally different. So they should design Evernote differently. That's what I think. It must be very easy to use in different scenarios.
