Overall Satisfaction with Figma

Figma is our daily driver for making wireframes to full-blown UI designs for web and mobile. We also use it to make the prototypes and to hand over all the assets to our developers and clients.
  • Design UI for web or mobile apps
  • wireframes and prototypes
  • Anything basic that you want to design
  • sharing the assets and handing over the project
  • Adding images in design feels little tricky sometimes as I am more used to Photoshop and Xd
  • Prototyping is little difficult compared to invision
  • some more design tools to go complex
  • UI/UX design and protoyping
  • Asset management and feedback
  • Almost free and does the job
  • very lightweight on system and fluid performance
Figma starter is free and anyone can access that so it's easier to share with clients and developers we work with. It works with windows and MAC unlike Sketch so that's one big plus point.

Yes

For most UI/UX designers, whether they are professional or just beginners Figma is one of the best tool to start with. Among Adobe xd, invision and sketch, Figma has made its fan base. It's very easy to learn and get started so making wireframes or basic app designs is very easy and you can prototype and so client presentation or take user feedback/testing.
- However, if you want to make a very complex application with lots of complex icons and design elements then it might not suited to use Figma but you can always go to illustrator and other software to do that and bring png/SVG to Figma.
