Overall Satisfaction with GanttPRO

In my master's studies, I use GanttPRO to organize all my reading, tasks, projects, assignments, and deadlines. As a visual person, it helps me to see the workload at a glance. I also see well ahead at what time I will have insufficient resources to deal with the workload. It's helping me to plan accordingly. It is also very helpful to manage projects with other students.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Nice, clean interface
  • Web application, access from different computers or tables
  • Easily add documents to tasks

Cons

  • Interface for smartphone--it works on smartphones but it's very small
  • Very large projects with lots of tasks can get difficult to show on the screen
  • Very effective time management
  • Improved use of human resources
  • Improved collaboration
Intuitive interface, clean, and nice design. As an online app, the data can be viewed on Windows PCs, Macs, and tablets. It saves the data very quickly (depending on the Internet speed) as if it is a locally installed application. Training is minimal, plus there is an extensive range of learning videos and topics in the GanttPRO learning center.
I had to contact support only once but support was very quick and helpful. They went a long way to help me solve my problem.

Very helpful in project management. Visibly see the tasks, resources, and progress made. Collaborate in teams and assign tasks to different team members. The ability to save and include different document types makes it a one-stop application. All resources are there. It is an online app, therefore the data is always up to date for all the participants. Versioning is possible, and you can undo changes. Moreover, you never have to worry about backup data.
