Overall Satisfaction with GlobalMeet Webcast
Our organization used GlobalMeet Webcast for a two-day global surgical meeting of approximately 1,100 surgeons and other healthcare professionals. It was an all-in company activity that included all members of our society + industry partners + prospective members. This was in the height of the global pandemic so we were super stressed about selecting a vendor quickly and with our needs appropriately met - GlobalMeet Webcast met that need.
- Careful planning - they were thoughtful and thorough in helping us plan our needs
- Reflexive to requests - as we had suggestions or requests, we felt they listened and responded
- Good culture - it feels like they have a strong company culture that resonates well in supporting each other and clients.
- [I feel like] they didn't have all of the features some of the common platforms (like Zoom or GoToMeeting) have available and that was a big problem for us.
- [I feel] their pricing structure felt like it was kind of tacky and less functional.
- Complete (in-depth) planning process
- Thorough preparation of speakers/presenters
- Detailed analysis/debriefing following the event
- This platform allowed us to quickly pivot from a large-scale in-person meeting we had planned (before the pandemic) to a fully online version, which was paramount in maintaining our annual budget. It was a success and so appreciated by our entire audience!
- Zoom, Microsoft Teams and GoToMeeting
Their pricing was higher than Zoom - and their options for global participation was less functional, so it made sense for us to transition to Zoom for a subsequent meeting. Their functionality was better than Microsoft Teams. Their over usability and user experience was better than GoToMeeting.
