Overall Satisfaction with GoDaddy
For over a decade, we have used GoDaddy for domain management, Linux hosting and WordPress hosting, web security, and data backup services. We use these products to organize and manage multiple clients, allowing us to coordinate daily tasks in a single, easy-to-use system. In addition to the affordable prices, the system makes the management of these technical elements of our business easier.
- Easy User Interface.
- Responsive Customer Service.
- New Product Discounts.
- Some Customer Service Reps are inexperienced.
- Renewal prices can be expensive.
- Cut our hosting costs about 40% per year.
- We generate revenue from clients who's domains we manage.
Flywheel and WP Engine are both more expensive but they offer more bells and whistles if you need them. I think WP Engine recently bought Flywheel so their services are very similar. GoDaddy offers more standard options that are more affordable. Network Solutions is slightly more expensive than GoDaddy but is much clunkier and harder to use. GoDaddy's customer service is better as well.

Would you buy GoDaddy again?
If you are managing multiple domains and websites and do not want to host and manage these onsite, GoDaddy offers a great option. If you are a larger company with the resources to host and manage these onsite, or if you have more complex websites requiring higher resource levels, GoDaddy may not be able to support your needs as well.
