Overall Satisfaction with Gong.io

We use Gong.io to record sales calls. People on the Sales, Operations, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Product teams all have access to the account. Our use cases are to run game film review and coaching, listening for trends, gathering product and competitive insights, testing messaging and decks. Prior to having Gong.io, it was a much slower process to get to the voice of the customer. We had to remind sales people to record and share their calls, and even when they did, it's a much slower process to review those calls in a manual way. The tagging and insights that Gong.io does automatically allow different users from different departments to quickly find the things relevant to them. Making notes inside of a call and tagging a user is a great way to call out a specific moment for them to review, and you can even share calls externally. What's cool too is the ability to see an entire deal flow from start to finish, and to see the entire pipeline and very quickly point to areas of weakness.

  • I'd love to see Alerts be a little 'smarter'
  • I'd love a little bit more functionality for a non-admin user to save and folder calls. It's confusing because it shows that I have a private folder, but I am blocked from the ability to folder a call.

Gong.io is a game-changer for teams who have no insight into customer/prospect calls, or who are trying to cobble together some calls in a shared folder. This launches your ability to get actionable insights very fast. I am a product marketer, so for me it's an awesome way to collect user feedback and help develop and test messaging.
