Overall Satisfaction with GoodData
GoodData is really amazing and powerful solution which provides Semantic layer, Metric layer and top of it also provides Data Visualization tool and also integrate other Visualization tools.
It helps to build Semantic layer, Metric layer and and top of it provides BI support. And we needed all three layers to solve our problem.
Pros
- It provides Semantic Layer which helps to connect with multiple sources
- It provides Metrics store layer which help org to have same metric across org level
- Also it has it's own Data Visualization tool
Cons
- Work on integration part with many other tools.
- it's positive only for now..
GoodData is very user-friendly to build. Also you will get doc and videos which helps you understand the tool and how things work.
It was pretty good. And tool is really amazing. There are lot of good features GoodData have. Cloud Native (GoodData.CN) is really good features GoodData have which improves the performance.
We integrated with Tableau and PowerBi. Inegration could be much more seamlessly.
